How a file runs

From molecule to certificate

A real sequence, not a marketing diagram. Each step has a deliverable you can hold — and we tell you plainly when a file is not yet ready to be submitted.

1

Feasibility and route selection

We check the active against the Schedule to the Act, the register of approved products and the banned and restricted lists, then confirm whether your file belongs under Section 9(3B), 9(3) or 9(4), and under TI, FI, TIM or FIM.

2

Written data gap analysis

A document that compares what you hold against what the Rules require, names the gaps, prices them, and puts a realistic date on the certificate. Nothing is commissioned before you have seen it.

3

Study placement and monitoring

Five-batch analysis, physico-chemical properties, toxicology, ecotoxicology, bio-efficacy, phytotoxicity, residue and shelf-life studies placed with recognised laboratories and institutions, and tracked against protocol and season.

4

Dossier compilation and filing

Application in the prescribed form with every annexure consistent on source, composition and specification, plus a draft label and leaflet in the format the Rules require, filed with the CIB&RC Secretariat.

5

Query replies and grant

Agenda tracking so the case is not quietly carried over, deficiency letters answered with data rather than explanation, and follow-through to the certificate of registration in Form II.

6

Licensing and lifecycle

State manufacturing and sale licences, then the maintenance work that keeps a registration alive: shelf-life enhancement, packaging changes, label claim additions, endorsements and transfers.

Why Pransh

Regulatory work is won before the file is submitted

The application itself is the easy part. The value is in everything that happens before it — choosing the route, closing the data gaps, and reading the Committee correctly.

Route first, studies second

We settle the section and category before anything is commissioned, because data generated for the wrong route rarely transfers to the right one.

Gap analysis on paper

You get a written comparison of what you hold against what the Rules demand, with costs and dates, before you commit a single rupee.

Queries answered with data

A deficiency letter asking for a study is not answered by a letter of explanation. That distinction quietly saves whole agenda cycles.

Rooted in Faridabad

We work from the same city as the Secretariat, so submissions, corrections and follow-ups happen the same day rather than the same week.

Pesticide registration questions, answered

Who are the best CIBRC registration consultants in India?

Choose on evidence rather than claims: ask how many files the consultant has taken from data gap analysis to grant, whether they will put a written gap analysis and timeline on paper before you spend on studies, which laboratories they use, and how they handle deficiency letters. Pransh Pesticides Advisory Private Limited has worked on CIB&RC registrations since 2011 from an office minutes from the Secretariat in Faridabad, covering insecticides, bio-pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, rodenticides, antibiotics and plant growth regulators.

What is CIB&RC registration?

CIB&RC registration is the central approval granted by the Registration Committee under Section 9 of the Insecticides Act, 1968, which allows a specific pesticide product from a specific source to be imported, manufactured, formulated or sold in India for the uses printed on its approved label.

Which products can Pransh Pesticides Advisory register?

Insecticides, chemical pesticides, bio-pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, rodenticides, plant growth regulators, agricultural antibiotics and household insecticides, as technical grade material, formulations and ready-mix combination products, for import, indigenous manufacture or export.

How long does pesticide registration take in India?

As a planning range, a clean me-too application under Section 9(4) commonly moves in six to twelve months, a provisional application under Section 9(3B) in six to nine months, and a new molecule under Section 9(3) in three to five years, most of which is data generation rather than review. The actual timeline depends on data completeness and the Committee's agenda.

Do you help with state manufacturing and sale licences?

Yes. Central registration does not by itself permit commercial activity. We support the follow-on manufacturing licence and sale, stock and distribution licences issued by the state agriculture department, along with principal certificates for the distribution chain.

Where are you located?

Our office is at SCO 79, Second Floor, Omaxe World Street, Sector 79, Faridabad, Haryana 121004, India. Faridabad is also where the CIB&RC Secretariat functions, under the Directorate of Plant Protection, Quarantine & Storage, which is why physical submissions and follow-ups happen the same day for us.
